If you want to be the only ones for as far as you can see and enjoy you privacy, nature and a sky full of stars, then this gem is for you. The house is amazing. Fit for a king. Morne is a great host and very friendly and reactive.However, be prepared to switch on a generate for water, no wifi and minimal cell phone coverage as well as no electricity. A real off the grid experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Tranquil and exclusive, the Luxury Bush Lodge exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed the peacefulness, privacy and comfort of The Luxury Bush lodge The entertaining space had everything you needed to enjoy long dinners and a comfortable lounge so one could relax and enjoy a book. The beds were also beyond comfortable The kitchen is also very well stocked to be able to cook large meals. The property is off the grid which was totally fine with us. however having water pressure issues and temperamental fridges/no freezer was not ideal. However Morne was happy to supply ice for us. Will for sure be returning

The lodge was beautifully renovated & furnished. The kitchen was well equipped & lodge had a nice ambience. The main issue we had, was it was not clear from the listing that the lodge had no power. We were only informed the week before arrival on request, there would be a generator available for a few hours a day based on our petrol consumption, which we could turn on as needed. Unfortunately this stopped working after 30mins - it was then replaced by the end of day but the new generator then also only worked for 30mins. We also had issues with the hot water in the showers and the pressure was not enough & showers heads were leaking further reducing water flow. The candles throughout were very nice but when self-catering you need some form of light for cooking, unloading the car, finding things - there were no lights (inside or outside). Luckily we brought 2 load shedding lights from home but this was not enough. If these issues can be addressed, we would highly recommend.
