This was a beautiful place to stay in the Costa Rica jungle! We only had two nights, but we wished we had longer! We loved hanging out on the porch, watching the birds, and enjoying the beautiful gardens! We hiked down the steep but well-laid path behind the house to the Rio Celeste, and took a dip in the blue water - you can’t do that inside the park! We hired the guide Rick recommended (bilingual, friendly, and good rates) to elevate our experiences in the Tenorio National park and a nearby coffee and sloth tour. The house has plenty of space and with everything we needed for our stay. Rick and Ashley have added so many thoughtful and useful items that are nice to have but you don’t want to pack in a suitcase (bug spray, quick dry towels, dry bags, umbrellas, snacks, etc). We enjoyed the fresh fruit, bread, and eggs for breakfast, and we ate lunches and dinners at a couple of the restaurants nearby - but the kitchen was well stocked for cooking too. Our stay was perfect!

C’est sûrement le plus beau logement que nous aurons lors de notre road trip au Costa Rica ! L’environnement est exceptionnel Confort +++ Literie au top Très propre La propriétaire Ashley a pensé au moindre détail pour notre bien être et confort Un petit chemin parti directement de la maison jusqu’à la rivière Rio Céleste en traversant la Jungle. Paisible. Nous avons vu pleins d’oiseaux différents, un toucan aussi. Nous avons entendu les singes hurleurs. Ce logement est parfait. Je le recommande !!!!

Rick’s place was everything described and more! He thought of every little touch to make you feel right at home! Who doesn’t like being greeted by chocolates, wine, beer, coffee and great snacks?! The property was stunning and you can walk to the amazing Rio Celeste which boarders part of the property! The birds & wildlife were also fabulous! It was truly a special quiet hidden getaway! We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful cabina! Located in a lush, green, peaceful spot. Very close to Rio Celeste and the National Park. The home was well stocked, with plenty of room. The outdoor space, with a pretty garden and porch was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the birds and wildlife. I would highly recommend this place!

We only stayed at this property one night but it was a great location for Tenorio Volcano National Park and Rio Celeste. Excellent restaurant right down the road. Lots of amenities and the place was very comfortable. Thank you!
