The Blue House is an escape into nature like I’ve never experienced. We saw monkeys, toucans, lizards, and more! The private access to the river is priceless, and the property was spotless and super comfortable. We had 8 people, including 4 kids, and it still felt like plenty of space for meals and for the kids to run around. 100% will come back!

We had such a lovely time at the Blue House. The grounds are gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and playing cards. The river access was so much fun for our kids and we were down there every morning and afternoon. The inside is also clean and comfortable, especially the beds. There are a lot of really nice touches, like hooks and lamps with softer light. The ambiance of the whole property is amazing and we had an unforgettable weekend. We've been living near the beach and thoroughly enjoyed getting out of the heat and relaxing for a weekend. Close to the national park and close enough to Bijagua. Also stopped at Arbol de la Paz and bought some souvenirs, pineapple from the old man on the corner. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This might actually be the best Airbnb I’ve ever been to! The house is wonderful: enormous garden, private access to a very nice part of Rio Celeste and amazing and unique furniture in and around the house. Very secluded and private feel, but all the while feeling completely safe owing to the friendly neighborhood. And on top of all this, Anisa is an extremely friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended! Although I’m a little worried this place might become so popular that we won’t be able to afford in the future ;)

A beautiful place in the middle of nature, away from the road in wonderful peace and quiet. One highlight after another, like the private access to the river for a refreshing swim or the great fireplace by the house for cozy evenings. The house is very nicely furnished, the great wooden furniture creates a great atmosphere. There is a great soda within walking distance. Anisa is always easy and quick to reach, very friendly and accommodating, great host! Everything was perfect! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the blue house, the location and riverfront garden were magical. The house was lovely, it had everything one could wish for during a stay surrounded by nature. Sitting out by the fire pit animal watching and listening to the roam pattering was a perfect afternoon. The area is beautiful and nice change of pace from Guanacaste. We will be back.
