Unfortunately we had a bad experience here. The lake is beautiful, but it was hard to relax due to a number of issues. The main one being communication with the host. It took us about an hour from Bacalar (not 20 minutes maps expected), the last part is a very rough dirt road through the jungle. The cabin was hard to find with only coordinates and no signs. There was an issue with the grocery service. There was an issue with the taxi they called for us. We felt taken advantage off. The hot shower did not work. The wifi often does not work. There were no pillows on the beds (like they showed in the pictures). We got locked out of the property when they closed the gate and did not provide us with the code. Leaving us standing next to a highway in the dark. None of the advertised excursions were offered to us. When we shared our complaints, the host did not apologise and even called us self centred. In the end, Airbnb mediated and processed a partial refund. We will never come back

Increíble el lugar! Precioso para desconectarse, el Sr Coleto y su hijo están siempre pendientes y son personas maravillosas. Mi lugar favorito.

La atención del señor Coleto (velador) excelente, dispuesto y atento. El camino para llegar a la cabaña es de terraceria y si llueve es peligroso. La casa se maneja con paneles solares así que por la tarde - noche puede que se vaya la luz ( eso no nos gustó). Si llevas comida ten en cuenta que el refrigerador es compartido (tuvimos suerte por ser los únicos huéspedes). La cabaña muy limpia y cómoda. La laguna inmejorable, tranquila y excelente para niños. Si te gusta convivir con la naturaleza es la opción. El WiFi falla mucho y la mayor parte del tiempo no hay conexión. Es necesario llevar suficiente agua y comida ya que no hay tiendas cerca. Si regresariamos.

El alojamiento está increíble, total contacto con la naturaleza, muy cómodo y tranquilo, tal y como lo muestran las fotos, vale la pena totalmente, solo añadiría tratar de mejorar el camino de acceso de la carretera a la cabaña ya que se vuelve un poco difícil para vehículos bajos, sin dudar regresaremos.

Precioso lugar, uno de los sitios más lindos que he visitado. Coleto y Suemy fueron extremadamente amables y atentxs con nosotras. Excelente estancia.
