A beautiful four bedroom (all with en suite bathrooms) Villa that sleeps up to 10 people, perched on a cliff, with a private 44 ft swimming pool. This villa has plenty of space for a large family or group of friends - 3 bedrooms have King beds and the fourth bedroom has 2 twins and a queen bed (perfect for kids). Check with us for last minute discounts. Walking distance to two lovely beaches, The Crane Beach and Foul Bay. This beautiful villa sits between two lovely beaches on the south east coast of Barbados - the deserted and gorgeous Foul Bay Beach and Crane Beach, voted in the top ten beaches in the Caribbean. When the tide is out the villa also has it own little beach, perfect for body boarding or a refreshing dip - if you can tear yourself away from your own private 44ft pool that is! Inside the house has travertine floors, granite counter tops, kitchen with two fridges, washing machine and dryer, wifi, cable T.V and every Bedroom has it's own full sized bathroom with shower. Perfect for a family reunion, or a group of friends, this Villa has it all. This is the perfect spot to relax. The Crane resort is just a ten minute walk away, with four restaurants and shops, and two other restaurants are within walking distance as well. A housekeeper is included in your stay and she will come four days a week - half days. A cook is also available at an additional cost. Please note that an additional tax of 13.75 will be added to every stay.

Spent a wonderful Easter with my children and grandkids ages 2-6 the pool and house were perfect for all of us! Loved walking for smoothies ! Thanks for a wonderful vacation house!

Absolutely amazing villa, great local amenities. Everything has been perfect from Carolyn our host, to Sonos system playing our favourite music all holiday. We’ve loved the outdoor BBQ, watching the sunrises from the day beds and family breakfasts on the terrace. The villa is the perfect base for exploring Barbados. We’ll be back, thank you!
The villa is gorgeous! It’s everything you would expect. Spacious and airy, big common area with comfortable furniture, great kitchen. The kids had a great time in the pool. Only the bedrooms have AC, which is also typical in the Caribbean. But that was no problem. Just open the doors and let the breeze in! There is a “beach” but at low tide you’re ankle to knee deep in water, so no laying out. But the cliff sides down there were great to wade around! A local said that it’s been that way for a few years. The water can be rough down there, but we still had a blast in the waves!
The Windermere and Craigmere villas have incredible views, spacious bedrooms, amazing outdoor spaces including expansive clean pools and good kitchens with quality pans and knives (important). We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at the villas and Carolyn's attentiveness, responsiveness, information and care was a big help as we celebrated my wife's 50th birthday. The tiny challenge we had to overcome was the lack of air in the living room in the Windermere...it is not air conditioned...it took us a few days to figure out how to use the wind/breeze to cool off that area but all other areas have in-room air conditioning. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that an unexpected treat is the number of GREAT restaurants within walking distance of the villas ... you must try "Dis Ole House Kitchen" or "Le Shack" or any of the Crane Resort restaurants. Get a taxi driver's card for the week...a must do...all in all - an awesome week with Carolyn and the Crane Villas!!!

I am originally from Canada and moved to Barbados 20 years ago, after marrying a Bajan. I love living in Barbados and now very well versed in all there is to do in Barbados, from dining to kite surfing! I love to travel and stopped staying in brand name hotels years ago and always stay in privately owned houses, apartments, condos as I enjoy the privacy they offer, and how they allow for a better cultural experience.
