The apartment was exactly as expected but the finishing touches are poor. Two of the windows don’t fit properly which meant we could hear the traffic noise outside and I can imagine in winter it would be cold. The entrance to the apartment is also very shabby and didn’t few very safe. No mirrors in bedrooms and no sockets in bathroom meant I had to use mirror in lounge to do my hair.

We stayed in Flitwick as a stopover before heading to Silverstone for the F1. All we needed was a bed for the night and this place did the job however I would not call this a ‘luxury apartment’. It’s located above an estate agents and a domino’s pizza, the communal entrance (although maybe out of Simon’s hands) is pretty dire and not the greatest impression especially after driving round in circles trying to find it. The duvet cover had a hole in it in the main bedroom and the 2nd bedroom clearly hadn’t been used in a while as the duvet and pillows were dusty. We pushed the beds together and had to hoover behind them ourselves as the floor was filthy. Towels were left in the washing machine from a previous guest and the flood light from the car park lights up both bedrooms throughout the night Again, great if you need a pit stop for the night but not a place to stay if you want to enjoy the area or a weekend away
