A lovely place. An excellent stay, especially having the run of the grounds after visitor hours. The Gardener's House is huge, and really well decorated. The kitchen was very modern with (again) huge fridge and freezer. All appointments tasteful, modern and functional. A brilliant stay.

The team at English Heritage was extremely accommodating. We loved the house, the grounds, the accessibility to the park/shop/cafe/etc. So much to do, and we had beautiful weather to enjoy the outdoor space. The house came equipped with everything we would need for cooking, bathing, and to be comfortable. Could not have been more pleased and will definitely be back!

Fantastic place for New Year - it felt very special to have access to the Park when it was closed to the public. The Christmas Lights were the most imaginative I've seen. Extremely comfortable and spacious for 6 people and dogs, with a large utility area for boots after muddy walks. Very warm and cosy, very homely. The English Heritage staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, both with the Cottage and the volunteers and guides in the Shop and House. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday, extra special to attend the Christmas light celebration next door. Very peaceful location, loved our stay

The property was stunning, large rooms which are beautifully decorated but with a real warm and welcoming feel. The hamper of treats was a lovely touch. Wrest Park and the surrounding areas were amazing to walk around with my partner and our dog. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here, I look forward to coming back or exploring another English Heritage site.
