Communication was easy and responsive. Directions and access good. The place was very clean/spotless and mostly as advertised. We were there to visit our grandkids who live in Carrollton. As such, it was very convenient. The reasons we did not give it five stars were twofold: 1). Upon arrival, we were greeted outside by someone who tried to bum a cigarette (we don't smoke). There was a screaming infant/toddler across the hall (we get it, we have toddler grandkids) who had a great set of lungs. There were people hanging in the parking lot and at one time someone sleeping in their car. 2) The biggest concern was the upstairs neighbor. When another reviewer complained about the noise, it was dismissed as someone moving in. Well, not so much. The noise started about 9:30 to 10 p.m. each evening and went on until about 2:30 a.m. (all 4 nights of our stay). Loud stomping across the floor and sliding things across the floor pretty much nonstop.

Lucy and Jerry’s place has a clean, peaceful feel and was perfect for what we needed. They were responsive throughout and when I accidentally locked myself out of the unit (oopsie!) This is a great place and close to Smithfield and lots of shops and restaurants.

It's tough to find the right words other than absolutely perfect. They responded immediately to any of our questions and the apartment was a perfect place for my aging mother with mobility issues. I highly recommend this property and will use it again when needed.

I highly recommend Lucy and Jerry’s Airbnb. They are wonderful hosts, and they have been so kind and accommodating to me and my family. The apartment is beautiful, clean, and modern. We had everything we needed, and felt very safe and comfortable there. We also enjoyed having the private patio. The Airbnb is located in a nice area, with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Check out downtown Smithfield while you’re there. Thank you again, Lucy and Jerry! We really enjoyed our stay.
