Suman’s place has the basics that you need and the bed was comfortable. The staff are delightful. We ate there quite a lot - there aren’t a lot of other options in the area but there was no need to find alternatives - it was like a lovely home cooked meal every time. The cook does something really special with aubergine, and the beer was cold! Little Paradise has its own driver and nothing is a problem for Lalith. It took the stress out of organising trips. Can recommend to other travellers who aren’t wanting five star hotels but prefer a local experience.

The room was okay but had an unpleasant smell. The host offered us a tuk tuk and car service, but much more expensive than the normal prices. The breakfast was not that good (in comparison to every other breakfast in Sri Lanka) and it took the staff very long to prepare it although we arranged a time the day before.

The room smelled awfull. We have to sleep with the windows open, but the dogs in the neighborhood were so loud we couldn't sleep well. The listing said, breakfast is inclusive, but we had to pay extra for this service. After we mention it, the owner lied to us and claim that is was one hundred procent sure, that the listing is without breakfast inclusive... For renting the rosty bikes, we should pay 2000 RP per bike. Normally they cost around 800-1000 RP in Anrudhapura. Crazy expensive! Don't go there!!! Expect if you want to eat there, the food was tasty.
