Jasen’s property was perfect for us ! Charming, newly renovated, very clean. It was thoughtfully well-stocked. Very fair price for an ocean front. Third floor porch view of the ocean is amazing with swimming right in front. Jasen was friendly, available and accommodating. He immediately addressed a plumbing issue and even sent a plumber out on Sunday. Steps are not steep or difficult, but there is no elevator and it is three flights up. You can walk to town and there are good places to eat and lots of shopping. One really fun activity for us was watching the many, many birds in the three trees in front of the porch. Right before sunset, they chatter, very loudly, catching up with their bird buddies, but right after sunset, boom ! All at once, they stop completely ! It is as if there is a conductor they are watching ! Made me think of my dorm proctor at lights out. NO TALKING ! My husband nicknamed Jasen’s place: “The Triple H” (Haleiwa Halekulani Hideaway.) He “never wanted to leave.”

I rented this place for a work and it was such a peaceful place to unwind at the end of the day. I also tried to make it a point to jump in the ocean everyday because the water is right out in front. This place is a great retreat if you are visiting Hawaii and in such a great vicinity to all the north shore spots. Jasen was great and responsive to any and all questions. Highly recommend!!
