We enjoyed our time at this unique property! Beds were comfortable, house was clean and beautiful Mountain View’s! We enjoyed the board games. There were only 5 towels for our group of 7. no wash clothes or kitchen towels. There is a new house being built next door that was sharing the driveway. Needs curtains! Bedrooms windows are at street level and lacks privacy and hard to sleep past 6:30 since it’s super bright. Otherwise a good stay.

We loved our stay in this large home with absolutely amazing views of the mountains. You can lay in bed in the master bedroom, sit on a rocking chair on the deck or relax on the couch while enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains. We explored several nearby cities, enjoyed hiking & fishing, and visited the local breweries/restaurants. Close to West Virginia, the house also offers the opportunity to explore places such as Harper’s Ferry and Charles Town. The house was very clean, beds were all very comfortable and host was friendly & available if needed. We will return and stay in this home again.

We had a lovely spring break at Abby's place! The view from the porches is so beautiful and peaceful, and our family of three had more than enough space. We loved exploring downtown Winchester, and the location was still convenient for day hikes in Shenandoah and Sky Meadows (less than an hour away). This home is a great value for the price. I'm sending Abby a few minor suggestions for improvement - for example, curtains on the upstairs bedrooms would be helpful for privacy/light as two rooms face the road. And while the listing states that it's the only house on this section of the road, there's a new one being built right next door. (This created more noise than we expected, but it wasn't terrible - hammering rather than heavy machinery.) Obviously, that can't be helped, but an updated listing would be a good idea for accuracy. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and Abby was a very responsive host!

House was great, view was excellent. Abby was very friendly and responsive. There was a house being built next door but they were only working on it one day while we were there.

I enjoyed staying here. It's remote, so I don't recommend arriving at night. The view is lovely and it's a very quiet and serene setting. I would definitely stay here again.
