This beautifully refurbished and ideally located two bedroom terraced house is situated in a quiet location with riverside walks and Rowntrees Park on the doorstep. It is just a 10/15 minute stroll over to the famous ‘Bishy Road’ bars and restaurants, a 20 minute walk into town or 10/15 minutes over to York racecourse. The property offers stylish and comfortable accommodation, an enclosed courtyard garden and free on street permit parking for one car. Situated in a wonderfully convenient location with easy access to riverside walks, York racecourse, Rowntrees Park, ‘Bishy Road, amenities and York city centre. This two bedroom terraced property has been stylishly refurbished to an excellent standard to provide contemporary and comfortable accommodation. To the ground floor a traditional tiled entrance hall leads to an elegant separate dining room with 6 seater dining table and lovely comfy chairs. The living room has a gorgeous reclining sofa, foot stool & smart TV, and leads into a newly fitted contemporary kitchen with integrated appliances, including a ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a breakfast bar. To the first floor are two spacious double bedrooms, both with comfortable double beds, and the master bedroom also has a smart TV. The spacious family bathroom has a bath with shower over. Externally the property has a sunny facing courtyard garden to the rear, a lovely area for guests to relax and enjoy al fresco dining in the warmer months. Permit parking is available on the street for one car, free of charge. If you do need to park an extra car then please let me know and I can give you help with that. WiFi is available at the property free of charge.

Carol's place is absolutely incredible! We have enjoyed it so much that we have rebooked to extend our stay for a few extra months as we were looking for something longer-term while we work on location. Immediately upon entering the space, you can tell that a tremendous amount of effort and thought went into decorating, as everything feels brand new and clean. The space has a lot of natural light and feels inviting, calming, and elegant. The beds and linens are by far the softest we have ever slept on while traveling. It felt like we were in a cloud. The kitchen and pantry are well-stocked for cooking, cleaning, or having a cozy cup of coffee. York City Center is definitely walkable, or you can take a simple 3-5 minute drive. Before that, there is a little village with several coffee shops, cafes, and grocery stores. We also LOVE Rowntree Park, right down the street from us and where we start our mornings. This is hands down the best York Airbnb you will find!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carol’s home. It was immaculate, beautifully presented and a comfortable, spacious home away from home - which was just what we wanted as we travelled with a 7 and 4 year old. It had everything we needed and was the perfect base for exploring York - we were able to walk into the centre of York every day within about 25 minutes. Carol was friendly and responsive ahead of the stay and throughout. If we return to York again in the future, we’ll definitely be staying here!

Perfect accommodation with easy access in to York city centre. Lovely park very close by. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Great Sunday lunch at The Winning Post and great brunch at Angel on the Green, both walkable from the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous house with lovely amenities and all the mod cons. We ended up cooking Christmas dinner there and the kitchen was more than well equipped to handle the job. Carol is the loveliest we've ever had on Airbnb, very proactive in her communication, there to answer any queries and super friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

A small, quiet terraced street with plenty of on street parking. Corner shop and Indian takeaway a couple of minutes away. Rowntrees Park on the doorstep. Nearest pub is 'The Winning Post', 5 minutes walk, Bishy Road area with shops, bars & restaurants approx 10 minute walk and town and York racecourse approx 20 minute walk.
In my opinion ones of the best locations in York! :-)
