Finding clean, beautiful lodging in a prime location usually means forking over the big bucks, but not when you stay in Greenville’s “Woodside Cottage.” It’s central to everything! It's also been remodeled for ultimate comfort, and we know you will love it! If you’re coming to Greenville to explore, imagine being able to get downtown in 5-10 minutes, a mere 1 mile from the Swamp Rabbit Trail and less than 2 miles from The Village of West Greenville. Woodside Cottage is convenient, but that’s not all! It’s also inviting and comfortable. With three bedrooms and 1.5 baths, this roomy home can accommodate up to eight (8) guests for a fun weekend getaway! Plush mattresses with luxury linens, flat-screen Smart TVs in every bedroom, Wifi, a full kitchen featuring new appliances, a Keurig coffee maker (and french press!), and all the cookware you could need. There’s even a washer and dryer (with complimentary starter detergent and softener!). Outside are the fenced front and back yards for carefree play for you and your kids! The home is on a quiet residential street, and the grill, fire pit, and ample seating are perfect for dining or unwinding as a group. From this location, you can get to most places in Greenville in a flash! However, not every house or street in the area has gotten a makeover—not yet, anyway. Most guests love this area—some wouldn’t stay anywhere else. However, some get unnerved by the fact that parts of the community are still in disrepair. We’ll say this: We have lived here for years. We know West Greenville to be a quiet and safe place, and we love to frequent its establishments. Nevertheless, we want you to have all the facts to make an informed decision before you book. Our policy is that we do NOT provide refunds if guests arrive and do not like this location. • Pros: This cool, refurbished home has charm, amenities, and space. It’s ideal for a small family traveling or couples—and less expensive than booking a couple of hotel rooms. Plus, it’s in one of the coolest parts of Greenville and a mere few minutes from downtown. • Cons: Again, some homes and streets in West Greenville have not yet experienced renewal. What about early check-ins and late checkouts? We understand you want to maximize your time in Greenville, so we offer early check-in and late checkout options. NOTE: There is a small fee for this service. Standard check-in is 4:00 PM; early check-in is 1:00 PM. Standard check-out is 10:00 AM; late checkout is noon. All requests must be made ahead of time. Do you allow long-term or frequent stays? Long-term stays are welcome! For stays over 14 days, we do require a $500.00 refundable security deposit for your stay. What if I come to Greenville often? We love repeat travelers, and we offer seasonal discounts to repeat travelers only. Make sure you sign up for our newsletter, and you will get notifications throughout the year tailored to YOU! What are your cleaning practices (and fees)? Some guests have asked why our cleaning fees seem slightly higher than other rental companies. It’s a fair question, and here’s our honest answer: When it comes to guest safety, we will never cut corners. Some hotel cleaning staffs spend 20 minutes (at most) tidying up a room. Other rental companies charge less—and do a whole lot less cleaning! Not us. We will always go the extra mile. Sometimes, it takes our staff eight hours to properly clean and disinfect a 1-bedroom house and to commercially clean all towels and linens. Bottom line? We only charge for the necessary cleaning to ensure your safety and comfort. We inspect all properties within 24 hours of arrival. Please note that while we take great care to maintain our patios and outdoor spaces for your enjoyment, the weather in Greenville can be unpredictable. During winter months, the patios and outdoor spaces may not be as well-maintained as we would like due to inclement weather such as rain, wind, and cold temperatures. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. What are StayGVL’s office hours? As a professional property management company, our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can easily reach us by email or phone. In the case of guest emergencies, we’re available to you 24/7. What do I need to do after booking? All guests must sign (electronically) a Vacation Rental Agreement (VRA) with our company after booking. This is an insurance and state requirement, and the VRA is a reiteration of the Terms and Conditions listed in our House Rules that you agree to when booking. We require this signed agreement whether you book directly with us or through an online travel agency like Airbnb, VRBO, etc. As a guest, you have the flexibility of a coded smart lock to check in when it's convenient for you, anytime after check-in time. Great host!! Very responsive to texts. Description 100% matched the property and everything was very clean. The area was a little sketchy, but was clearly noted in the listing as a revitalized area, so we knew what to expect. And never felt unsafe, just aware. Would definitely stay with StayGVL again!!
This Airbnb was perfect for a family! It was less than 5 minutes from an adorable little coffee shop, brewery and so many other things. It was clean, they had little snacks for our arrival( which my kids loved) and it was just a great space!
