Huge house! Really nice overall, left a nice gift box! The sky light is a great addition but prob needs new windows upstairs because it's a bit cold but it's not that big a deal

Wonderfully communicative and helpful staff. There were a few bits of dirt and damp. They just needed to be a little more thorough in cleaning, and the general finish of the property could have been better. Damp from previous water leak, dirty windows and frames. The utensil container in the kitchen was filled with some sort of black goo. Looked a bit like molasses but was rather unpleasant to find. Upstairs shower started leaking (a repeat of a previous issue, as we found out). The team were very helpful in getting a plumber out, but he didn't arrive until the last day of our stay and he told us we couldn't use that shower for another 24 hours anyway. Nothing more could really have been done about this, but it was a bit disappointing to only have use of one of the showers, especially when there were 5 of us. Also no toilet rolls, bin bags, dishwasher tablets or laundry detergent were provided. There was also a bulb missing from a bedroom.

Despite its good location, the property did not have much to offer and the host was very unhelpful. It was difficult to locate the property and the safe box. The house had a noticeable smell, there were many fixtures that needed attention (one lamp was missing a lightbulb, curtains were missing chains, dishwasher door was missing etc). It was clear that some effort had been made to renovate the house, but it was not finished completely. Additionally, the host informed us a few hours before our arrival that the hot tub was not working and this would not be fixed for our entire stay. In addition to this matter and despite informing the host that we had a baby, we could not find the highchair and cot bed as described in the listing. We contacted the host, but they could not find a solution until the next day. In general, the house is in need of a major update and a reduction in price. The property is overpriced and we overall did not enjoy our stay.

We the family stayed 3 nights at the house. It is pleasant location and surprisely is nearby Loch Ness exhibition centre. Unfortunately there are lot of area in the house need to fix and improve.
