Larry and Yvonne’s place was a good get away. It was smaller than the photos had shown, but the screened in porch made up for it. This house would be perfect for warmer weather. Since it was fairly cold the night we had stayed, we spent most of the time inside.

Upon arrival, it was dark but the porch light was on and clear instructions for the lock box. Easy to open and use. Directions to the house was perfect. We were really impressed with the house. So many amenities. Kitchen well stocked, bathrooms well stocked. The screened in back porch was amazing. The whole place was just beautiful and private. Highly reccomend this place .

We really loved our time at Larry and Yvonne's place! Getting there was a breeze with the GPS. It's a good thing, too! We came in after dark, but found the place warm and welcoming, and quickly made ourselves at home. The space was better than described! The spacious common areas were perfect for family time, and there were also private areas for quiet time. The kitchen and bathrooms were equipped with everything you could need, so preparing meals was a breeze. We enjoyed the little extras, as well as the big ones. The back porch and fire pit were extraordinary! We loved our stay!

Great place! I was in Romney with two friends for a couple days while working on a property I recently purchased and wanted a place close by to stay at. This house was easy to get to and a fairly short drive away. I liked the private location at the end of a cul-de-sac. Nice, quiet neighborhood with well maintained roads. The house was fully stocked with everything from kitchen utensils to bathroom towels and supplies. I liked the master suite which was like it’s own apartment. There is a large screened in patio with tables and chairs. Inside and out we very much liked this property. If you’re in the area for recreation this house puts you close by to the Potomac Eagle train, hunting lands, rivers and streams for fishing and Civil War history. Springfield has a Dollar General store, gas stations, pizza place and convenience store about 10 minutes from the house. Romney isn’t too far away and has fast food, Tractor Supply, Food Lion, 7-11, CVS and Walgreens.

Peaceful and Relaxing! Just what we were looking for. My husband and I and two other couples were visiting Cumberland MD to do the Fall train ride and wanted a relaxing place to spend the night before our trip back home. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing setting. Really enjoyed hanging out in the screened in back porch. It was perfect place for playing games and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Woke up to a rainy morning so it was nice to have that covered porch and be able to enjoy our breakfast outside and listen to the rain hitting the tin roof. Our only regret is we only booked one night. Would really like to visit again for more days and be able to enjoy the fire pit and relax a little longer. If you want a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of life, I recommend giving this place a try. ~ Nancy
