This house made for an excellent getaway! It’s proximity to the river was perfect considering how much time our group spent fishing and just hanging out by the water. The hot tub and pool table are must-haves when my wife and I look for places to book with friends and this house did not disappoint. The rustic bar and card table in the basement were a nice touch, adding to our enjoyment.

Despite the awful weather we had, our multigenerational family had a ball reconnecting in such a beautiful area! The kids - all young teens- kept themselves busy with the movies, pool, hiking the area, etc. And we had made it a NO electronics vacation and they actually had fun!

We had a great stay in the cabin! The owners were responsive and helpful when we encountered some functional issues the night we arrived, and the rest of our stay was smooth. As others have mentioned, the house is comfortable but this is still a retreat in the woods, so we were not surprised to find a few stink bugs sharing the space. We especially enjoyed going out for walks, and appreciated the care that has gone into the outdoor areas. If you're coming from the Maryland side, bring change/small bills for the toll bridge!
