Nestled amidst the serene woods, this cozy retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort and seclusion. This cabin is within 4 miles of the C&O Canal, 19 miles from Historical Romney, 19 miles to Cumberland, MD and 12 miles to the Paw Paw, WV tunnel. Enjoy biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing and soaking in all nature has to offer in Wild & Wonderful West Virginia The cabin is located on a small hill right off of the road but is very private with no view of surrounding houses or roads. The house is very much located in the woods so you are sure to see and hear wildlife if you spend time outside in the yard or on the large and spacious wrap around porch. The house sits up high enough to offer amazing views both during the day and night skies.

Most amazing rental property. We planned for 2 nights and extended to 4 nights! Everything was as described and we cannot wait to return!

Great quiet family getaway! We enjoyed exploring the property and relaxing on the cozy couches. The cabin is beautiful, and was very clean (well stocked too!) The host was super responsive and helpful when we had questions as well. Thanks for a great weekend away!
The place was amazing! More than we ever expected! Private! Rachelle and Felipe were very helpful, anything we wanted they provided. Our 4 legged family members had a blast as well! Loved the area, very laid back. The kitchen was so well stocked we wanted for nothing. Very clean. Thank You So Much For Allowing Us To Stay!

This is a rather private neighborhood and the majority of people here are friendly residents.
The driveway splits into two entrances and goes up a very small hill. There is a lot of parking by the house. The closest store is in Springfield, WV for fuel or small grocery items- 10-15 min drive. There are small town restaurants in Fort Ashby, WV- 15 min drive. I have included a list of all local places with the distances from the house in the cabin.
