Lake Avenue on Schoodic Lake is made up of friendly seasonal and year round residents. There are several homes and seasonal homes lakeside across the street. Woods to the Canadian Pacific railway are located behind the camp which provides a nice backyard with privacy. There are seasonal neighbors on either side of the camp. Our neighbors provide a friendly, helpful, social atmosphere on Lake avenue!

It is not uncommon to see and hear golf carts, ATV's and snowmobiles driving up and down Lake Avenue. Boating, fishing and jet skiing are common on the lake. Wildwood's Restaurant and lodging are located a mile from the camp. The ITS trail 111 is located nearby. We are 12 miles from a large grocery store (Tradewinds) and Pharmacy (Walgreens) in Milo. Many drive their ATV's through the trail system to get to the grocery store in Milo. There is extra Parking for Boat, Snowmobile and ATV trailers is available just up the hill from the nearby boat launch at Knights Landing down the street about 1,200 feet from the camp. Gulf Hagas and Katahdin Iron works are just 15 miles away for hiking. Baxter State Park is 30 miles away. The camp is located on Schoodic Lake, bring your boat and enjoy some of the best fishing in the State of Maine. There are nearby guide services available if needed.
