Katie and Gene have a wonderful place that allows you to get away from it all! They are both incredibly helpful and communicative and provide a spotless, well stocked, beautiful place. We hope to return soon!

We had the most wonderful stay! What a magical place this is. It is certainly rustic, as the description states, but it is also clean, comfortable, and outfitted with everything you need, especially if you want to unplug for a bit. It was wonderful to swim, paddle, hike, fish, and just enjoy the screened in porch and the fire pit. The lake and woods are beautiful. It was a total pleasure to meet Katie, Gene, and Andy and I'm grateful to have experienced this truly special place. I can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay and the cabin was just what we needed. The screened in porch was very nice during the rain, and the swimming, paddling, and fishing were great. Gene is a friendly and helpful host, and we plan to come back!

We had a lovely time in a pristine location by the lake. Spent multiple days just hanging out on the dock, reading, and jumping into the lake. Thanks Gene and Katie for sharing this space with folks!
