霍普韦尔(Hopewell) · 整套客用套房 · 2室2床1.0卫 · 可住4人 · Eagle View Cabin - spacious, modern, rustic
Settle in and forget all of your worries in this stress-free zone. We are located along scenic Illinois Route 29 on a bluff overlooking the Illinois river. The perfect place to retreat and refresh with friends and family. Plenty of woods and natural wildlife right outside your door. We frequently see Eagles soar up from their nests along the river. Two hours to downtown Chicago, and 30 minutes to Peoria.
This is an out-of-the-way location, and I never would have found it without attending a nearby event. It wasn't entirely clear where we would enter. It's a private home and there was no signage. We followed the duck-boarding around to the back of the home and found the entrance. It's a beautiful space and very comfortable. It's a walk-out basement apartment with sliding glass doors and a patio which offers a far-off view of the river and the wooded river valley, very quiet and peaceful. The rooms, kitchen and bathroom were modern and functional, and very nicely decorated. Karen and I stayed just 1 night, and we should have stayed longer, to enjoy this wonderful place. This might be the best Airbnb we've stayed at, all were pleasant enough, with unique features, but this one stood out. We had a couple minor issues which we communicated to our host by note, but too minor to complain about.
The space was beautiful and clean. The beds were comfy. We had everything we needed for our one night stay
This property has a beautiful view of the river and sunrise! They left a bottle of champagne for us, when I told them that we were getting married and would be arriving late. The place was clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this property to anyone coming to the area!! Thanks so much for being willing to host, and taking pride in offering this service to people.
Incorporated in 1983, the Village of Hopewell sits on a bluff overlooking the Illinois River. A 30-foot wooden Native American statue created by nationally acclaimed sculptor Peter Toth welcomes visitors. This carving pays tribute to the Hopewell Native American culture which existed along the Illinois River 2,000 years ago.
The rural community of 170 homes consists of predominantly wooded lots with paved roads, a municipal water system, a community park, playground and pavilion. Residents observe an abundance of wildlife on a daily basis.
Free street parking available. One car can park on the left half of the driveway.
