What can I say? This place is just gorgeous. Clean, beautiful cabin with beautiful surroundings. Libby and Pam are have put a lot of work into making such a nice space. It was wonderful!

Libby’s cabin is the most beautiful, unique place we have ever stayed at. The location is amazing, you are literally surrounded by redwoods and the interior is carefully curated, luxurious and serene. Not to mention the outdoor spaces you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The cabin is an amazing place to have as a base to explore the area from - though it’s so beautiful you may not want to leave:)

What a unique, incredibly curated, and beautiful home! The house’s location is perfect - up the hill in the redwoods and still close to the river. The hosts make everything so easy and are so thoughtful with their instructions ahead of our arrival, little tips and notes around the house, and the guidebook in the house with tips about local attractions, restaurants and more. For as thoughtfully designed and decorated as it is, the house is still welcoming and comfortable. We especially loved the furry blankets on the sofa and beds. My 3 year old daughter loved our stay as much as we did. The house is not as remote as anticipated, it is in a hillside neighborhood, which we enjoyed. That said it was still private and had a wonderful garden area. When you are in the house, you feel like you are in the redwoods. It’s a really special spot. We are kind of obsessed with this house and all the design details. We hope to visit again.

Beautiful setting, comfortable beds and home. Lots of Restoration Hardware influence. We had no issues getting there or inside. The road is paved, albeit slightly run down and narrow in places, but plenty of people drive it in all types of cars. The front bedroom is larger and sunnier than the back, the heaters worked great, and the kitchen is stocked with basic equipment. There are several decks with comfortable seating (and some sun!), a large comfortable sofa to watch a movie or read, a large dining table with benches upstairs and dining for 4 downstairs. It was very quiet, except what sounded like an outdoor Spanish language church down the canyon on Sunday AM (not a bother, rather charming). We had delicious meals at Boon Eat+Drink in Guerneville and Altamont in Occidental, and stopped at Wild Flour bakery twice! Walked the neighborhood, and Landpaths Occidental as Libby recommended. One note: this house is definitely not for anyone with disabled walking. Otherwise, definitely go!
