The apartment is located in Bermondsey, a popular area of Central London just 10 minutes south of Tower Bridge. Great transport links bring so much of London within easy reach, and as you’ll see from the highlights below, there’s plenty in the local area too:
LOCAL STORES
There’s a supermarket virtually opposite the apartment complex and another further down the street.
LOCAL RESTAURANTS
There are plenty of places in the area where you can dine out or order in food for those mealtimes that you don’t fancy cooking for yourself. I have provided some of my absolute favourites in the welcome manual you will receive after booking.
LOCAL PARK
Burgess Park is the biggest green space in the area and features a lake, play area plus a BMX track, tennis courts and a 5km running trail.
BERMONDSEY ANTIQUES MARKET
If you’re staying in the apartment on a Friday, you won’t want to miss checking out this historic market where you can browse and buy all kinds of antiques. It’s open from 6AM until 2PM.
TOWER BRIDGE
There’s more to this ornate Victorian bridge than something cool to look at: you can actually venture inside. Check out the engine rooms with their whirring wheels and pistons, then head up to the glass-floored viewing platform above the draw bridge, where you can delve into this magnificent structure's story.
BOROUGH MARKET
This famous food market close to the banks of the Thames and next to SOUTHWARK CATHEDRAL offers a real treat for foodies, with all kinds of stalls to explore and fresh produce to try and buy. It’s open every day of the week except Mondays and is a short bus ride or cab journey from the apartment.
THE LONDON DUNGEON
One of London’s spookiest attractions is sure to be popular with guests of all ages.
THE GOLDEN HINDE
You can explore this replica of Sir Francis Drake’s famous ship which is moored in a dry dock overlooking the Thames, close to Borough Market and another of London’s popular attractions,
THE CLINK PRISON MUSEUM.
HMS BELFAST
This is another famous ship you can board and explore, and is moored on the River Thames between LONDON BRIDGE and TOWER BRIDGE which is undoubtedly the river’s most iconic crossing which you can walk across or get a cab or bus.
Close to the bridge is SHAD THAMES, a semi-cobbled riverside street that dates back to the 1870s.
FASHION & TEXTILE MUSUEM
Easily accessed from the apartment, this popular London attraction features all kinds of displays, exhibitions and interactive sessions.

The apartment’s central location means you have all kinds of options when it comes to getting around. Of course, walking, cycling or arranging Ubers is an option, but you also have a bus stop just 0.1 miles from the house which will take you to Tower Bridge in 20 minutes.
Other public transport options include South Bermondsey train station which is just over half a mile from the apartment. This is the stop before the London Bridge terminus station (for The Shard and Guy’s Hospital) on the rail network and takes just 5 minutes.
You can access London’s vast Underground train network from Bermondsey tube station which is just under 1 mile from your home-from-home. This wheelchair accessible station is on the Jubilee Line, which gives you direct access to places such as Canary Wharf, North Greenwich and Stratford to the east, and Waterloo, Westminster, Bond Street and Wembley Stadium to the north and west.
