This house was absolutely perfect for group of 12 plus 1 toddler and 1 infant. The set up of the two homes on one property is very charming and convenient that we were able to isolate the kids/early wake ups into one house but still spend lots of time together as a group. The house is located in a very peaceful, rural area- we especially enjoyed being able to walk to the farm down the street with the sweet camel! Both homes are beautifully decorated, well stocked, and extremely comfortable. Leigh was a great host and very responsive and attentive to our needs. This is such a special property and we hope to be back.
Leigh was a gracious host. The property exceeded our expectations for a weekend girls trip.
We utilized both houses and each room we were able to “match” the personality of the occupants! A whole-family gathering that took 23 years in the making. Each and everyone LOVED the place. Our agenda was: cook, cook some more, play music, keep warm in the solarium, take short walks, cook some more, watch a movie or two upstairs in the “movie loft”. Did I say “cook”? We didn’t really want to go to restaurants, we simply wanted to strengthen our bonds. I hope we didn’t wear out the piano, it’s rich music filled that house. Did you know a short walk over the hill takes you to a small animal farm and they have a camel?!?! FYI: west coast, east coast and southeast usa geographies were represented. All of us had to travel great distances to get here…..and this place took the cake! We are grateful!
