Luxury historic home filled w/ unique modern design elements & chef's kitchen. Located in Historic King William/Southtown steps from restaurants, bars, & parks. •Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center: 5 min drive/16 min walk(0.8 miles) •The Pearl: 9 min drive(4.1 miles) •Alamodome: 4 min drive/22 min walk(1.1 miles) •The Riverwalk(main entrance): 19 min walk(0.9 miles) •Hemisphere Park: 14 min walk(0.7 miles) •Tower of Americas: 15 min walk(0.7 miles) •Blue Star Arts Complex: 9 min walk(0.4 miles) Our home was originally the Hegemann Photograph Studio built in 1927 and was restored by our team with the intent of honoring the history. The home has the perfect balance of original vintage elements with modern day touches. The property is equipped with smart lighting, Sonos sound system, smart TVs, professional kitchen appliances, and much more. Our property is a two-story home with a primary bedroom & private full size bathroom downstairs. The second story has a large bedroom with two queen size beds and a twin size trundle bed that can be accessed from one of the queen beds. There is also a large full size bathroom on the second floor for guests who are staying upstairs. The large window/skylight downstairs was restored back to its original form and was once used as natural lighting for photography. We now call this room the Atrium as it gives wonderful natural light for our plants, makes a wonderful setting for dining, and can also convert into an extra bedroom w/ a convertible couch.

Great spot in a great neighborhood in San Antonio. Yvette was very responsive and even allowed us a slightly early check-in. The space was beautiful and very clean with lots of modern amenities. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit the city.

This is a true gem. Yvette has a beautiful home and we loved every minute we got to spend inside. You can tell that a lot of love was put into this home and that each element was intentional with a modern touch while simultaneously preserving some of the historical characteristics of the home. As a host, Yvette was very responsive to messages and accommodating to my family and me. An unequivocal Super Host. Without reservation, we would stay here again.

Our Alamo House is set in the beautiful King William district with some of the richest history and historic homes in Texas. We are also located in an area of San Antonio called Southtown steps away from South Alamo street filled with so many things to do!
Our property is steps away from many local restaurants/bars & a short walk to Hemisphere Park and multiple access points of the Riverwalk.
While the neighborhood is calm during the day on weekdays, it becomes active at night and on the weekends.
