Our stay in Nosara was so memorable. The location of this property was a highlight as we felt far away from the main streets, but were able to strap the baby to our chest and take a beautiful walk through the jungle to be at Playa Pelada in 10 minutes and North Guiones or Playa Guiones in 15 minutes. We made use of the pool (which felt private, as we never ran into the other groups who live on the property) and the property was very safe and fun for our 16-month old. Throughout, Tabata was communicative and helpful. There were city-wide water restrictions during our stay (out of the control of the host) which was a tough reality of visiting in the end of the dry season, but Tabata did as much as she could remotely, to help advise us how to access water. It should be noted that the house next door was under construction. The noise was mostly manageable, except for a few chainsaw days, but it'd be hard to find anywhere to stay in Nosara right now without construction noise.

Tabata's place was set in a superb location, please note there are dirt roads everywhere so be prepared to get dusty. Use WAZE for locations as many places in Nosara do not have road names yet. We had all the amenities and it is a stunning walk to the beach via the rain forest. It only took 10 mins. We loved waking up to the howler monkeys and an array of tropical birds. Nosara itself is expensive so be aware. Water is not always available in Nosara during busy periods, note restaurants may not be able to serve many drinks etc. The apartment itself is perfect for a family with a shared bathroom. Lovely big bed, great air con and responsive host.

Tabata was a great host, she is very responsible and we felt like she truly cared about our happiness as a family. Since we were traveling with two little ones, she ensured there were toys to play with included a fun little child swing on the porch. If we had any issues, she was super quick to resolve them- even had the gardener come trip trees off the roof to reduce sound when it was very windy a couple of nights (she really understands the struggle of getting kids to sleep). The house is centrally located in Playa Pelada, just a quick little drive down to the beach or a short 4 min drive to Guiones where you can eat at a ton of great restaurants, do yoga, or surf the famous Playa Guiones. One of the best things about the place, is there is a family of Howler monkeys who visit the trees directly off the balcony each day, so we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching them at sunset and sometimes during midday. You can easily walk to the beach also by using the monkey path too!

We had a wonderful stay at Tabata’s house. There was four of us (two kids under the age of 7.) There were toys inside and outside that the kiddos were really happy to play with. The a/c worked great. Outdoor porch was spacious and had a kid swing and a hammock, both great for relaxing and play. The pool was really nice with shade coverage and jungle surrounding. The jungle walk to Pelada beach took 12 minutes without kids and 25 minutes with kids. Easy to get Tuk Tuks. The house is on a hillside so be prepared for steps down and back. Tabata was very helpful!
