A one night stay to enjoy my birthday dinner at the olive branch….without my partner or I driving and the need for a taxi. The best decision ever. Felt so at home. Frances is the most perfect hostess, so friendly, chatty and accommodating. Fantastic place to stay. So comfy and welcoming. Like being at home. Even better as no tv….so a perfect way to really relax and enjoy quality time together. the views are incredible and the sound of sheep and nothing else but the trees rustling in the breeze. Wish we’d booked it for a second night and just cooked and enjoyed the beautiful countryside and peace. One of the nicest places I have stayed at. If you’re not local to this area, it would be the most perfect place to stay for a week and enjoy the fabulous countryside, food, market towns that Rutland offers. And not forgetting the fabulous Olive Branch. I will definitely be back there again.

Absolutely wonderful stay! An utterly tranquil location with stunning countryside. A brilliant pub is literally around the corner and a stunning dog walk is over the road from that - Many hours were had sipping cool beverages and country rambling. Many thanks to Frances who was very friendly, communicative and especially helpful late at night when we couldn't find the thermostat. Returning guests!

Lovely location so peaceful …. Frances is just the perfect host ! Friendly, helpful had lots of suggestion. Accommodation is of a high standard, very clean spacious and bright. Would definitely return and highly recommend this property

A beautiful rental right next door to an amazing restaurant in a picturesque village. Plenty of space, very comfortable bedrooms and the fun of the pool table to boot. A very comfortable stay and brilliant host
