自我介绍

I was born and grew up in the village, on our family farm. Also spending all my married life in this wonderful part of The Yorkshire Dales,. I really do know and love Cumbria. Our family farm is at the forefront of the Regenerative Agriculture revolution. We have welcomed visitors to our farm in the Westmorland Dales National Park for many years. With self catering Cottages scattered about the estate, romantic Shepherds Huts, family Glamping Pods and almost wild Camping in our wildflower meadows there are plenty of ways to enjoy this special and tranquil part of the Yorkshire Dales. I work hard at creating and maintaining the perfect relaxing bolt hole, deep in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside. We live and work at Crake Trees, my family is round about, extended but not intrusive, no time for our own holidays, but I learn about other folk's adventures all the time. We do find time to explore our wonderful area, so with our intimate knowledge of a every aspect of Cumbria can help our visitors explore their particular interests. Food is major, we love cooking and eating. The local provenance of food and how it is served is especially exciting in Cumbria. The design and architecture is my great passion. I enjoy exploring churches, remote abandoned farmsteads, roads to new places, outdoor swimming, on foot, by car and bicycle. Thats what we do whenever we have any spare time...Ruth and Mike and all the family
