We had a lovely stay at Lucy and Neil’s cottage. The location was great - free parking outside/opposite, right next door to a pub and a short walk into Appleby. The cottage itself was very cosy, well equipped and perfect for us. We were in the area for a wedding and the cottage had everything we needed. We had a slight hiccup as we found an escaped local puppy at the front door as we arrived. Lucy and Neil answered my call immediately and were at the cottage within 15 minutes to take the puppy and reunite it with its owners. The response time was amazing as we had a pre-wedding meal to attend and their quick actions meant we didn’t have to cancel. Gutted that we couldn’t keep the puppy but would highly recommend staying here☺️

Nice tody clean cosy cottage had everything youd want for a short stay great that dogs are welcome too would re visit when in this area again. Thank you for having us stay.

had a great time the local pub was great for food and great walks for the dogs the cottage was lovely and cozy with Wi-Fi and confined garden
