A fabulous find in Appleby! Beautifully furnished and very comfortable. A great location in the centre of the village with convenient parking. A real home from home. Thoroughly recommend The Crown and Cushion for a delicious evening meal. We hope to come back!

Great overnight stay at the cottage, perfect location for the lakes and convenient next to shops. The house itself was lovely, it had everything we needed. The TV had lots of options to watch, and the shower was massive! Would definitely recommend

Immaculately presented. Issues on check in however, as my name had been transcribed incorrectly. Parking is an issue - time limited on street, nearby car park only permitted up to 10 hours. Nearest free parking was the swimming pool which although not far away was busy and I can imagine it's impossible to get a space at times. However, it was an enjoyable stay and the dark haired lady at the Crown and Cushion (I can't remember your name pet, I'm sorry!) was very friendly and sweet. We loved her to bits!
