Prefacing with saying we enjoyed our time here. However, the listing did not specify that the house is NOT on the lake; you can see the lake but you have to walk through the neighborhood to access it. The inside of the home was fairly clean, but the master bath had a dirty towel hanging on the back of the door when we arrived. Additionally, when first entering the neighborhood through the gate, we had some issues. The hosts had alerted us we’d need our IDs but the gate attendant also asked for the hosts’ full names, which we did not have. The attendant was able to work it out eventually but it would’ve been helpful to have ahead of time. All that said, the hot tub, back yard, and porches were all very nice to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.

Carolina Trace is a gorgeous area. Allison was an incredible host and was incredibly responsive. The place was immaculately clean and well laid out. The backyard area was perfect for enjoying cornhole or a grill and fire pit. 10/10 recommend and we will be back!
