Marta is a wonderful hostess. She is accommodating, quickly responsive with any questions and so pleasant and courteous to work with. Her home is situated beautifully on a quiet lake. The firepit and adirondack chairs outside provide the most peaceful and pretty setting. The pictures accurately represent her home which is stocked with all the essentials and very clean. She graciously provided firewood for the indoor and outdoor fires. This is the perfect location to enjoy the lovely outdoors, and I hope to return; thank you again Marta!

Marta’s place was beautiful! We sat by the fire Saturday evening and enjoyed the view and visited! It was peaceful and pretty. The place was clean and stocked where we were able to make a big breakfast Sunday morning. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful location with gorgeous sunsets. I loved how there was a woodsy bear and moose motif inside while it also felt very clean and modern. There was wood provided for making a cozy fire out back which I really appreciated. The canoe was a great bonus. Comfortable furniture and beds. Everything was wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again if I ever return to the area.

My kids and I absolutely loved our stay at Marta's cabin! The location is so peaceful and the house had all we needed for our getaway. The area is secluded so we had a little trouble finding the place at dusk (the gps didn't quite have the location correct), but a quick phone call was all that was needed to help us figure out where we needed to go. In the end it made for a perfect, relaxing spot after days of exploring Acadia (about an hour away). Would absolutely stay here again!
