We were in Queanbeyan to celebrate the 120th Anniversary of our family business. Many of the people who came to the celebration worked for us in the 1970’s when I was a child. Staying in Tracey’s flat felt like we’d stepped back in time! It was a fun place to stay and felt like we were on a movie set. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more!
Tracey was extremely responsive. The home was just as described. She delivered a couple of items we requested and brought a little bit of produce from her garden. The full kitchen had everything, and we prepared breakfasts and one dinner. We had a great chat about the history of some of the pictures and paintings. Tracey is very friendly and interesting, yet not at all intrusive. Tracey also recommended eating places. We really enjoyed a local taco restaurant. The unit is up 4 flights, 42 steps! Something to consider depending on fitness and health. It probably helped my 18y/o granddaughter and me keep fit! Tracey also provided a mud map of a walk to and along the river. The unit is very close by car to Queanbeyan, which appears to have all one could need including op shops, where we found a much needed scarf given the weather turned rather cold. Our purpose was to visit the national gallery, 20 min drive. I'm sure you will be very comfortable and enjoy your stay 😊
