Muskoka mist is a cottage out of a storybook. It is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. We booked Easter weekend to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday and she absolutely loved the cottage. It is just steps away from the water and the cottage offers beautiful views of the lake from the living room. The cottage is also extremely spacious, comfortable airy. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with all pots/pans and utensils needed for cooking or bbquing. The host also had pop and sparking wine present which made our birthday celebration more special. We had a few questions regarding Netflix access and firepit and the host was very prompt on responding making it a very smooth experience for us. Muskoka Mist is an absolutely perfect getaway steps away from Doe lake and we would love to be back again to enjoy this beautiful space.

Since our idea of a weekend getaway was to just stay in and relax the entire time, Muskoka Mist was ideal. It was open and spacious, yet cozy with a lovely view of the lake so we didn't feel like we were confined at all even though we never left the cottage, except to play with our dog in the yard and go for short walks along the road; it's about 1km back to the main road so it's a good 30 minute stroll back and forth. The cottage was very clean when we arrived. A good amount of cookware, dishes, cutlery. Clean towels and sheets. The lake was very pretty; it was frozen which added to the peacefulness (fewer people at their cottages and no boats on the lake) which was perfect for us. Gravenhurst is just around a 10 minute drive away (15 minutes to Bracebridge) if we needed anything. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had a very nice time and would look forward to visiting again.

I can’t say enough about Muskoka Mist - it exceeded my expectations! We were celebrating our mother’s 92 birthday and the place didn’t disappoint on any level. Great communication with the host and we hope to be back again sometime soon! Five star all the way!

We had a great time with my family. The cottage is just by the lac, in a remote but not too much area. we couldn't hear the car from the house. all the furnitures and appliances are band new or in very good condition. the staff is very quick to answer and very helpful. we really recommend this place.
