My family enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving this year at Shel’s beautiful home on Block Island. It was a 4 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the ferry and the Main Street with many shops and restaurants. The kitchen was so well equipped with everything we could ask for. The layout of her home is very family friendly with a large dining room table to gather around. There were tons of games, puzzles and books to enjoy. We especially loved playing the piano and sitting by the cozy wood stove. The television was easy to operate using her cord to connect our phone watch our streaming apps. I agree with my who daughter said, “ this home is even better than the online pictures show”. Everything was immaculate. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The street was very quiet and we enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful backyard. We had a great time attending the Holiday Stroll and Turkey trot. Shel was a wonderful host. I definitely would love to come back for a summer stay.

From the minute we walked through the front door we felt right at home. The house has a great layout with lots of room to be together or several nooks to chill with a book. The back yard was a wonderful place to relax and hangout. Being close to restaurants and shops was a positive since it’s such a short walk to town. So glad we came in the off season, there was lots to see and do!
