The closest groceries/supplies store (Cottonwood) and gas station (Alon) are conveniently on the way to the Big Bend National Park entrance from Camp Elena.

As the Terlingua and Big Bend region is very remote, you can fly into El Paso or Midland and rent a car, ride the Amtrak to Alpine and rent a car, or fully road trip into town. When driving, have extra water and a spare tire/tools with you (just in case). We recommend using G-Maps and downloading directions beforehand to accurately locate the property. As we are 2.8 miles off FM 170 on unpaved roads, sports cars are not recommended. Exercise caution when driving on wet unpaved roads, although it's typically best to wait for them to dry.
