The Perch was the perfect spot for a long weekend spent exploring Big Bend. It was super close to the park and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Would highly recommend!

We’ve been coming to Terlingua for years, as it’s our preferred “home base” for the parks, and I can say that this house is the most unique place we’ve stayed in out here. The location, the view, the design of the house itself… it’s all pretty incredible. It makes for a very peaceful, very secluded place to mix some margaritas while the sun sets over the Chisos, then sit back and take in the stars.

This is a unique place, dramatically situated overlooking Terlingua. It’s off grid so there’s a need to be mindful of water and electricity usage. But if you’re ok with that it’s a great place to spend a few days while exploring the Big Bend region
