Big house with nice terrace and pool

Location was great for us - easy walk to the Old Town for restaurants etc which is what we wanted. Villa itself had been nicely renovated, but was pretty basic inside. In particular, we found mattresses very hard. And there were ‘no frills’ in the kitchen - none of the nice welcome things like salt, pepper, oil. Crockery/mugs etc were also of a very basic quality. Would have appreciated nicer stuff. We also had to walk 10 mins each way with bags of rubbish/recycling every day, which we felt wasn’t great when we were paying so much for rental (less of an issue if you had a car.) We had to pay extra to be allowed to put air con on outside of the stipulated hours. Outside space was nice and this was a priority for us. We were here in Sept and got bitten a lot by mosquitoes when outside by the pool. The 2 most important things for us (a) location walkable to town, (b) outdoor space/pool - were great.

Fantastic villa in a great location, Pollenca was really surprising - beautiful old town with lots of brilliant restaurants. Hosts were really responsive and helpful, lots of good recommendations. One thing I'd note is be careful driving through old Pollenca if you have a bigger hire car - the streets are very narrow - better to just leave the car in the nearby Pont de Roma car park (which is blissfully free). Overall a fantastic holiday and we can't wait to come back!

The location of the house is great, just about 5 minutes walk to the first bars and restaurants. The pool is lovely with seating areas and su loungers. A great stay.

Wunderschönes Haus, sehr schöne Umgebung. Gute Erreichbarkeit der Agentur. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Eigentümerin. Einzig mit der Klimaanlage gab es etwas Probleme. Diese läuft nicht, wie gedacht ständig, sondern nur zu festen Zeiten. Auch in diesen festen Zeiten, lief sie nicht wie vereinbart, was im Hochsommer nicht angenehm ist. Der Grund konnte, trotz ständiger Kommunikation, nicht ermittelt werden. Ansonsten war alles wunderbar und sehr zu empfehlen.
