We try to come to Smith Beach annually and the house is perfect for our needs. Jen's communication is always clear and prompt, and the check in and check out procedure couldn't be easier. This year despite cloudy and windy weather, we enjoyed great views of the Chesapeake as well as a winery and restaurants that were recommended by the host. Can't wait for the next visit.

The Baywatch was very clean & comfortable; felt right at home. Absolutely breathtaking views of the bay and very peaceful neighborhood. Enjoyed kayaking and playing in the water everyday and appreciated all the amenities! Jen was always quick to respond when we had questions. Highly recommend checking out this place!

This was our second time staying at Jen's place. We absolutely love it for our family trip. The house is well equipped and convenient for two small families. The beach and sand bar are excellent, sunsets are stunning, and the neighborhood is wonderfully quiet and relaxing. Daily walks/bike rides with our young children, kayaking to the sandbar, watching the wildlife (crabs, eagles, skates, fox, pelicans, herons, etc.), playing in the water. Smith Beach is honestly one of our favorite places we've been, and we look forward to returning to Jen's house again.

Beautiful location and a wonderful set up for our two under two children. A pack and play easily fit inside a closet upstairs for our baby, and the pink room on the second floor was dark and cool for our toddler. Having the beach right there for us to quickly pop down to made juggling naps and bottles so much easier. Local restaurants were super family friendly and overall the trip was fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay at Smith Beach. The house is very nice, the beds were great and the view is awesome. It's a short 15-20 min drive to Cape Charles. We did some other exploring along the eastern coast, but Cape Charles is definitely where most of the action is, unless you drive up to Chincoteague, which is did do one day. The recommendations on restaurants and shops were pretty much spot on. Only complaint we had was the water in the house smelled, especially in the kitchen. We noticed this at a couple restaurants in town as well. We bought a plug-in air freshener but it really didn't do much.
