My stay was OK. Getting in and out of the building was a little bit difficult due to a broken door system. They never fixed it while my state was there, which made it difficult to get in and out. Thankfully the key was finally provided. The apartment itself was easy to access. The bathrooms cleaned and kept maintained in a regular basis. Kitchen was very basic. I had to go out and purchase simple kitchen utensils, because they were not supplied. The pans pots etc. for cooking needed to be replaced. They did give us one brand new pan when I moved in which was good. The in side of the apartment had a washer and dryer. The dryer was broken for several weeks and took time before they finally replaced it. I was lucky and had good neighbors roommates, etc. We all got along. We kept the place clean. And we respected each other's private space. I would recommend this to people. The only downside was the cost. Expensive in my opinion.

Given the price of hotels in NY, this was a good find. The location is convenient if you’re flying into LGA. The neighborhood is a little interesting at times, but we didn’t feel unsafe. Close to the bus and subway stops. Our room was a little cramped because an air mattress was added for our third guest, but we didn’t spend a lot of time in there so it was ok. The room was very warm, but if you ran the air conditioner it stayed a pleasant temp. There is some sort of pipe that comes up through the floor that was really noisy at times, added to that the sirens and people outside, it was a little loud at times and hard to sleep. The common areas were very clean, but the white walls could use a new coat of paint. The bathroom we used had an issue with the shower where it didn’t drain well - it filled up and then slowly drained after you were done. We didn’t report it since there was a sign about the “sensitive plumbing” - so it may just be an old building issue. Overall it was good.

There are many shops near the area, easy to grab Uber at any time of the day. Very clean and well kept place. Host gives very clear guidelines about everything. I enjoyed my stay, will recommend.

Das Airbnb selber war sauber und entsprach den Bildern! Leider ist die Umgebung in der sich das Airbnb befindet nicht die Sicherste. Vor dem Airbnb befinden sich jeden Abend diverse Obdachlose, die unter anderem versuchen hinter einem ins Gebäude rein zu gehen. Uns persönlich ist jemand ins Gebäude gefolgt der nicht dort wohnte und hat sich auffällig verhalten, demnach hatte man kein sicheres Gefühl und wir haben daraufhin das Airbnb früher als geplant verlassen. Tagsüber war alles in Ordnung und die Metro Station ist gleich um die Ecke und man benötigt nicht lange ins Zentrum. Zusammenfassend ist das Airbnb gut, jedoch ist die Umgebung und insbesondere die Obdachlosen vor der Tür sehr extrem und leider ein Grund dass Airbnb nicht weiterzuempfehlen.
