The boathouse was exactly as I hoped it would be. It was tucked away but the instructions were clear and we were able to find a parking space close by. It was very private which was just as well as there were no curtains or blinds on the windows. Instead we had a fabulous view over the harbour and watched otters swimming in the water. Just beautiful.

We absolutely love James’ Brentwood bay space. I little tricky finding it behind the blue privacy fence gate. After opening the gate It was smooth sailing from there. I highly recommend staying here Tamra

This was my third visit to the Boathouse in just over a year. It's such a great spot and a perfect base for exploring the area. I stay there on business, and I plan to continue going there any time my work takes me to Victoria. James is both accommodating and easy to reach.

we felt right at home here, and it was wonderful having your own private outdoor space along the water. would love to stay here again, it had everything we needed and was close to everything

Stayed two nights after a week of exploring downtown Victoria. What a wonderful way to unwind and enjoy nature. The view from the house is picture perfect and the ability to relax on the deck was a bonus. We walked to the neighboring pub at the Inn each evening for dinner. Great food and easy stroll. I recommend this place if you love nature and peaceful surroundings. We didn’t kayak on this trip, but watched several kayakers each evening take off from the dock below. Wonderful option to have so close by.
