I was performing in a mini-festival at the Palms Restaurant in Wonder Valley, and Tom's cabin was a great location! Close by (just a few minutes down Amboy Road) but also completely private. The cabin itself is quite large (with a separate bedroom) and looks exactly like the photos with the retro-modern vibe in the living room and the purple in the bedroom. What stood out, however, was Tom's regular helpfulness, friendliness, and attentiveness. The cabin does have its quirks - for example, being entirely solar, it needs a little extra help with a generator when the weather isn't the best, and Tom was ready to help get things back up and running. He also knows a lot about the area and was happy to share his suggestions of things to do in my spare time. I really appreciated his hospitality!

great place for a getaway

Tom was a great host, responsive and easy to communicate. We had some issue checking in by ourselves but Tom responded extremely quickly and came over to showed us the right direction to use the knob even though it was already past 11pm. His cabin is cute and safe with a huge yard, outdoor furniture, a swing and fire pit. We enjoyed the stars on the back yard. Only a short drive to the restaurants and 20mins to the north gate of Joshua Tree NP. Btw, the cabin is a little bit hard to locate in the dark, drive slow when you first come, or you might miss the gate.

A cute and convenient little spot close to JTree national park. I felt that the host was a very kind human, very helpful and responsive. I got a great night’s sleep at this Airbnb — the neighborhood was very quiet, which was awesome. I did have some issues with the place though. The bathroom would leak water every now and then, the plates were a bit dusty, and my partner got shocked on one of the light switches. The place has a lot of potential, and I would love to see improvements in the afore mentioned areas, and maybe come back.
