If I could describe this place with one word it would be serene. The cabin matched the description but the surroundings are way more beautiful and peaceful than the pictures. We specially loved the forest in the back of the cabin. The trails were clear and walkable, the property was well kept and the host was friendly. As mentioned in the description, there’s no bathroom in the cabin but there’s a porta potty near. If you’d like to face your fear of darkness, I’d recommend a trip to the porta potty at night. Make sure you bring a couple of flashlights and some extra water and soap (for washing your hands) as well as utensils. I would definitely stay here again.

the cabin was cozy and the surrounding land was absolutely beautiful. I loved exploring the trails throughout the property and seeing all the native wildlife. The charcoal grill and fire pit were convenient for cooking, just make sure to bring some charcoal. Host was friendly and responsive, gave local recommendations. restaurants, shops, and swimming just a short drive away near Knox , Lake Bass, and Lake Maxinkuckee.

Loved it here, husband & I plus our 2 dogs had a wonderful time. There are koi fish in the pond that we loved watching & they are super friendly. Host has sheep & goats fenced in on his property. There isn't a shower but he said he's working on getting a camping shower. If you want a nice simple getaway from everyday life, book this place. It's everything it says it is plus so much more.

This cabin was exactly what I needed. The cabin is actually on Nics property toward the back. It was clean and private. The patio,grill, firepit and hammock are a short walk from the cabin, it is NOT right outside the cabin. There is a port a potty for use and it was not cleaned out so it did smell a bit. Not a big deal for me. Also, there is no lock on the cabin door and when I asked Nic for a key to lock it he said that it was not necessary. That made me a bit nervous but I trusted anyway. Everything was fine. Lastly there is NO shower available. Nic did offer his hose that is near his home by the garden and I used that to wash up a bit. Over all it was a pleasant stay.

No where in the house description did I read that there was no bathroom, only an outhouse! No shower and no kitchen. I didn't stay there.
