We had an incredible time! Such an amazing view. My only peeve is that we had 7 women stay 7 days. We were given 2 trash bags and 2 dishwasher pods. More supplies would have perfect.

The house is a touch on the older side, but there was plenty of space for our big family to spread out and it had plenty of character. The sounds of the crashing waves were wonderful at night. It was super clean on arrival! The beach isn’t accessible directly from the backyard, but that’s no issue — the path is literally right around the corner, and you’ll be there in two minutes. The house is a smidge off the grid, which isn’t terrible! It’s only a short drive to Cannon, and it felt very private and quiet. The beach was virtually empty and very beautiful with tide pools to explore. Though the cell signal is virtually non-existent, the WiFi in the house kept us connected to the rest of the world (though the basement rooms didn’t get much of a signal). As a whole, it’s a nice spot with good views, and outside of the bustle of Cannon — but not too far.

Family time was valuable, house had many rooms for fun family time. Location is away from most things, lovely quiet forest, nice window view of beach. This house needs some L❤️VE & a V-serious deep clean. Was like a time capsule & camping all @ once. Invite me back I will clean for you‼️ Deceptive photos made it l👀k closer to beach… but V-dangerous hike👇to beach through woods &many rocks @ low tide, definitely not for elderly or young kids. A drive down 101, to beach & N🚫T easily possible on bike, or hike. FYI-neighbor house construction happening June 2023 I washed smelly shower curtain in leaky 👆bathtub, &👇shower had black mold. I washed👃🏻all fleece blankets in living room. No blow dryer, no spices, no oil, no salt & pepper, knives dull, 1-dishrag, 2-towels, kitchen limited. Pack your slippers, deck needs refinishing, not “up to code for kids” Dirty fans & dust👇beds gave us all respiratory issues. Need designer for furniture arranging, no lamp/light in living room. SEND HELP!

Well, this place was kind of a dump. We arrived to find the driveway and entryway covered with garbage (diapers, food waste, etc). the landscaping around the house (grass, shrubs, etc) is badly overgrown, full of weeds. most windows are rusted shut. very poor cell service, and weak internet in most of the house. towels and linens are old and shabby. overall, the house looks like it hasn't been kept up in a long time, like a house that's been a rental for a very long time, there's zero pride of ownership evident in the whole property. overall, the house looked nothing like the listing photographs. one of our group of five is a professional architectural photographer. he noted the techniques the listing photographer used to make the property look a lot better than it actually is, attesting that photographs can indeed lie. the property is listed as beachfront, but what's in front of this house is an impenetrable thicket of trees, shrubs, and weeds. beachfront in my experience
