We had a great time! It was exactly what we were looking for!
Our stay at Vacasa Maine’s lakeside cottage was excellent. The location was as described. The place is cozy & quiet, and I would recommend it for a couple or a family, because of the fenced-in yard & proximity to the water. It was a bonus to be able to bring our dog who enjoyed swimming & paying. The bedroom(s) were as described, the beds were very comfortable & linen was fresh & clean. The kitchen was well-equipped but did not have a lot of food storage space so we utilized the downstairs room with the washer & dryer. The bathroom is tiny but had linens & soap & shampoo. We felt welcome & peaceful and would book this place again. We saw at least 10 Loons & a pair of eagles, an otter or muskrat, and turtles. We also caught bass & sunfish off the dock. The cottage was clean, and the furniture fit the space well. The washer & dryer were a bonus. The host was very responsive, which made us feel welcome. What could be improved is the listing didn’t mention that you park & walk in.

Such a Great spot to unwind. so quiet and peaceful. the yard is fenced in so our dog could roam without bugging neighbors. Beautiful camp life.
