Wonderful stay here. Exactly what we were looking for: a beautiful peaceful lake, kayaks to take out and enjoy it, and a location that served as a great base for day trips to other locations on the coast! A bonus were the wonderful sunrises from the porch!

Lovely vintage lake stay We spent two delightful nights on the lake in the vintage property. The place and views are exactly as depicted in the photos, it's right on the lake with the views directly from the screen porch. A sturdy staircase leads from deck to the gently sloping part of lawn and well-maintained dock. Sadly we didn't leave ourselves time to enjoy the kayaks. The kitchen is fully stocked - even has a candy thermometer! Grill runs a bit hot but works well. Rinsing veggies in the vintage punched aluminum colander reminded me of my grandparents' kitchen. You can see the lake from porch table (seats 3) and the indoor dining table. Having the dump run in checkout process is more work, but dump is only 2 miles away, and in my opinion it's well worth it to stay so directly on lake. For a modern stay, go elsewhere. If on the other hand you want to experience a property that transports you in time as well as place, and appreciate older houses, you will enjoy.

Our 2nd stay. Well kept, older camp. Peaceful, loons visited a lot. Great new mattresses!! Effective A/C. Practically run by owner and supporting family (ice made on arrival, unused food/"please feel free to use"). Timely, easy communication with owner. Great time!
