My boyfriend and I booked this cabin as a quiet getaway to spend time with one another. The cabin was the perfect spot for us to unplug and relax. The fireplace was the perfect touch during the cold weather as it did a great job to heat up the place. (BRING FIREWOOD) We hiked Record Hill during a torrential downfall which was an epic experience. The house is nestled amongst trees so be prepared to spray yourself down with bug repellent as the mosquitos can be a lot. Tims cabin was stocked with the necessities, there were simple spices and cooking utensils for any meal. I would suggest planning your meals ahead of time and stopping at the store since the nearest grocery store (Walmart) is about a 20 min drive. 10/10 recommend booking this cabin. We will be back.

Very unique, cozy cabin with beautiful views of Lake George. It is in a quiet, remote area of the lake, but it had all the basic amenities we needed. True to the listing (and reviews), there are several flights of stairs between the driveway and house and down to the water. Maybe not the easiest for families with young children or pets. Still, a great spot!

This cliff house truly is situated on a cliff beautifully overlooking Lake George! Tim was a great host and was responsive and quick to assist with any requests. The house is rustic and in the middle of the woods but you are getting the full tree-house cabin experience. The boat dock was perfect for our needs with a 23’ foot boat and a wave runner. Hot tub was a nice touch to relax in at night and our family enjoyed the being cozy together. The house does have lots of steps so be prepared to get a work out in. The bunk house is separate from the house and recommend adults sleep there only. We had small children and they did fine on the stairs with supervision. Kitchen had many amenities that made cooking easy and enjoying a fire pit on the lower deck was relaxing watching the stars and hearing the water!

The location of this place is really nice. It sits on a cliff (hence the name) right on the lake shore. As warned, there are a lot of steps... something like 84 or 97 from boat dock to driveway. Unloading and loading was a workout, small children or elderly folks may struggle a bit. The inside was nice, however it is a rustic cabin. The owners are actively fixing it up, so I'm sure some of the "character" we had will be fixed for future guest. The boat dock was nice for the boat and they just installed a new boat lift. Dock space for laying out or just hanging with the family is a little tight, but doable. Water pressure is minimal, hot water was good, and the kitchen has a decent amount of stuff. IMO, 4 seems like a good amount of people. Gull Bay is a great area of the lake and there is a boat launch within a mile or two from the house. A few little boating details, there is not an inspection site at Gull bay, ramp doesn't open until 11am, and it's closed on Tuesdays.
