Great place to stay on the north end of Lake George. The house is immaculate and very roomy. It seems to be fairly new. There is a back porch with a wicker sofas and chairs, a patio with a table/chairs and a fire pit with chairs, all with a partial view of the lake. There is also room to dock a boat. The location is very quiet and private. This area of the lake is less touristy than the south end. There are many activities; boating, fishing, hiking, and miniature golf. Burleigh’s Luncheonette in Ticonderoga is great for breakfast or lunch. Seymour’s Restaurant on the golf course is a delicious treat for dinner. Jenn and Marc were exceptional hosts. Any questions that arose during our stay were answered immediately. They could not have been more accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying at “Moonrise”. It is A++

Moonrise cottage is an ABSOLUTE GEM! There isn’t anything negative I can say about our stay and that is quite the compliment given that I’m a “little finicky” about where I stay when traveling. The detailed listing and prior reviews led us to booking the week at the cottage and everything was as we had hoped it would be: quaint yet spacious, clean, well-equipped both inside and out, quiet, beautiful surroundings and a fantastic host. Thanks to the steps taken by Jenn both before and upon our arrival, we had everything we needed for the week. Had anything come up during the week, I have no doubt that Jenn or the property manager would have addressed it right away. We look forward to making another trip to Lake George in the future and hope that Moonrise cottage is available when we do!

Jennifer's home is exactly how it looks in the photos, perfect! Plenty of room in the living room/kitchen area for 8 people to hangout. the kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials for cooking, baking, etc. The bedrooms have plenty of space with comfortable bed! The 2 bathroom are clean and spacious. Outside, I can say enough about this space; area to grill and outside, wonderful porch for morning coffee, great seating area around a firepit and beautiful yard to enjoy the outdoors. Jennifer made it easy, thanks for everything!

Jenn and Marc were wonderful hosts. They communicated well, had great suggestions, and made our stay very pleasant. The "cottage" is fantastic, had all the amenities needed for a family of five, and never felt crowded. We were very comfortable during our week-long stay on the lake. There’s plenty of storage or clothing and stuff you bring and everything felt brand new. The kitchen is well stocked, dining room table is large and has a great view. There are tons of windows and light throughout the cottage. The porch and screened-in section face the lake. This made for great sunrises and afternoon coffee breaks. It's an easy walk down to the lake and the boat dock made getting on the lake so easy. The town of Hague is just a few minutes up the road and has a market and a restaurant. Ticonderoga (15-20 min) is a little larger of a town, had some nice restaurants, and antique stores. This part of the lake is a little quieter, which was perfect for us. We hope to come back soon!

We were so very happy with the beautiful furnishings and amenities of this rental! We had the pleasant surprise of a backup generator kicking in after a storm and consequent power loss keeping all the essentials up and running. Hague is a quiet and beautiful location enjoyed with ease in this lovely home.
