My stay was very pleasant. The house itself is an authentic home at the edge of the desert that adds to your stay a very special atmosphere. I can totally recommend ;)
Organizing our trip to M'hamid was extremely easy right from the beginning. Mohamed is very quick to respond to messages so once we started communicating it took no time at all to organize our stay with him. Myself, my husband and our two teenage boys had a fantastic 4 nights in and around M'hamid . The accommodation, although perhaps not for those who need a 5 star hotel, was made all the more delightful by the little terrace where we could sit and get some breeze on a hot afternoon, or eat dinner in the evening. Mohamed's brother, Hassan, looked after us very well throughout and produced delicious food. It was very easy indeed to organize our trip into the desert before we left home. Mohamed first gave us a one night option, and when asked about two, he immediately offered a very exciting plan that suited us all: camel trekking, dune climbing, sleeping under the stars after eating bread baked it in the sand... All in all a fantastic all round experience in this family run Airbnb
Mohamed's place was great for a night stay prior to a tour. He and his family are very welcoming, meeting us at the bus stop and providing us dinner after a late arrival. Really nice terrace for having dinner and breakfast. Room is simple but does the job.
We had a lovely stay with Mohamed, who was extremely welcoming and attentive, from meeting us at the Bus Station to providing many pots of tea and a delicious breakfast. We also arranged a separate Sahara tour experience with him and it went wonderfully; music, campfire, desert dunes and camels…. The works! I don’t think we would have had anywhere near as good an experience in M’hamid if it hadn’t been for him. We only spoke English and felt like he could deal with our many questions, both practical questions for our stay but also helping with our interest in the area. It is not often you find such a friendly and proactive host!

Transport from Marrakech or Ouarzazat to M'hamid by bus (CTM is the best company that the you can use).
There are also buses from others cities to Zagora. From Zagora you can arrive here with car (60min), bus shuttle (every 30min) and taxi.
We can pick you up at the local bus station and take you to the house.

I am Mohamed a native nomad (aziz) . I was born in centre of Sahara, in a popular settlement desert deeper, of course my exact date of birth is unknown as most of people who were born in desert. The first years of my life were spent in Sahara conducting the innocencent nomadic lifestyle along with my parents. One day I had to abandon my lifestyle to come with my parents to settle down in the village of M'hamid Alghizlan due to borders issues between Morocco and Algeria. I still live in the village now, close to my family and my roots. I want to keep this privileged link that I have with the desert. I love welcome people and listen their stories. I have hosted people for 3 years. I feel grateful for all I have learnt and what people who cross my way taught me during this experience. I am open minded and respectful.
