I have been living in Brooklyn for 8 years and also working in Real Estate Business for over 4 years. So It's also my job to explore the city. You can easily reach me through Airbnb message, txt or phone call when you have any questions. As a host, I'd like to provide a nice place for you to get rest while you are visiting NYC. If you like Chinese food, I can also give you some good advise~ Some complaints about Airbnb! The platform dont want hosts to persuade guests to review for good. And then also requires hosts to have a high reviewed rate to be a super host. And there are always someone who believe 5 stars belongs to Lord and 4 stars belongs to Saint " Your worked hard Mortal, I share give you the highest honor of 3 stars" Raised service fee and vague breakouts! Trying to push instant booking and so called smart pricing. Trying to make decisions for hosts and limit guests info. So you want to more ppl to book and just need host to confirm without giving host enough info about guests. You only care about charging service fee but never trying to help hosts from finding good guests. Pushing last minute requests with no info guests and then claiming that you are serious about qualities? !! Yea~Since Airbnb dont take responsibilities and it's all about bad hosts. No matter what you will get more service fee and take less responsibility. Only sales team no service team. Clear instruction from Airbnb as: "Airbnb is built on relationships. Help other people get to know you." Well I will say almost half of my guests have an empty profile. An Airbnb guest email and digital phone number can also work as verification. Showing selfie verified and then showing me a donald duck or even a simple grey shade? !
