Felt safe and comfortable the whole trip - as a woman. Nice restaurants and beautiful neighbourhood. Easy way to NYC.Would definitely recommend this, Eva is very friendly and you feel welcomed.

Great place to stay. in a lovely Brownstone and photos are as described, comfortable and private. It's a great set up because you have your own space and was not a problem using the facilities. The host was lovely, friendly and happy to assist and answer any questions whilst there and before you travel. It is close to JFK, and the host sends good instructions making it easy to find and self check in . The area is close to different Piers, there are parks nearby, cafes. restaurants and supermarket. I was very happy it was only a 3 minute walk to the Underground, corner 4th Ave /45st. The R and N train takes you straight into Manhattan Times Square within 30-40 minutes. Machines to purchase tickets or contactless payment at the gate, which is quick and easy, just tap and go. Recommend Sunset Park Car Service I used loads, Taxis are reliable, excellent service and great price paying cash. It's a lovely place, definitely recommend, you'll be comfortable, feel safe and enjoy your stay.

perfect location if you truly want to feel like you live in Brooklyn :) unfortunately, I got sick right at the beginning of my trip so I had to spend a lot of time inside, but Eva's room was comfy and quiet and I felt safe there! Eva and her roommate were very helpful and kind to me and I would come back anytime, I think it's the perfect place to stay for little money in NYC, the subway is just a 5 min walk and there's a supermarket, deli and a little park closeby :)
